Can people and conservation successfully work together? Addressing conservation conflicts - a presentation for 4th year environmental undergraduates.
Powerpoint presentation bringing to light some recent research and tricky/controversial conservation conflict topics. This is to encourage students to debate and think out loud in class, but also take some poignant messages/topics home with them. This presentation is followed up with discussions on the VLE and also gears up for their second assignment.
Advice for reuse
I think this could be used for any level to be honest, but i think some of the terminology used around ecosystem services and socioeconomics could potentially be too advanced for first years, for example. I use half way through a second semester module for 4th year BSc students.
